The San Francisco de Pachijal community has a focus on agricultural production, within which livestock farming is evident to obtain milk and meat and, on a smaller scale, other local products. There is no knowledge or experiences on the generation and management of integral farms in the community, so it seeks to promote low-cost production initiatives with direct impact on the communities in a short time frame and create initiatives that can contribute to the food security and family economy of the communities.
